Happy Spring, Camano Cruisers! Is anybody out there?  Relax is close to being launched - just some topside waxing to do and we'll be back on the water.  Looking to head north once again this summer.  Have fresh batteries and waiting for our composting head to arrive on that slow boat from China.   What's new with you and what are your plans for cruising this summer? Micro-Air EasyStart In an effort to from having to use two Honda generators on the Camano I am trying out this from Micro-Air: I will wire it into the air conditioner (a MarinAir 16,000 Btu unit I installed in 2017) following the wiring diagram provided.  I'll render a report once I get the boat in the water and can crank up the AC. Bottom paint should be applied this week.  It will then be time to do some waxing, re-install the cockpit hardtop, Lanacote the props, put the impeller back in, etc, etc!

Fitting a new pfifertex windshield screen on Relax.  Getting ready for a great boating season coming up!!  Also, checking out a new navigation app called Argo.  Might be a good way to stay in touch AND navigate around the Bay.  It is available for free download for Apple or Microsoft.

Introduction

Camano owners who are based in and around the Chesapeake Bay plus any passing through are invited to post your current and/or proposed dates and locations to facilitate joining up in a marina or anchorage for some ECCO camaraderie. Jane and I are going to be cruising around the Bay this summer with Not A Clew and Irish Mist and we'd love to have some mini-Rondies with other crews.  So, let's get some commo going with each other on this blog or by email/telephone/VHF -- whatever!
